A third of under 25 year olds mentioned bar/pub promotion as an influence.

Nightclub promotion is particularly influential among under 25 year olds.

(34% compared to 12% overall)


Taste is the most important consideration when choosing an alcoholic drink.

57% of drinkers make taste a consideration "all the time" when choosing a drink. This is lower among under 25 year olds (although still high) and true across drink types.
