Every year our colleagues choose a different charity to support for that particular year. Thereafter, the whole ICB team commits a great deal to fund raising activities for the great causes. Over the years, sponsored activities have included, cycling the length of Britain, open water swimming, marathons & half marathons and the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of the following great causes:
- Zoё's Place, through our Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/ICBLtd
- St Michael's Hospice
- The Firecracker Ball for Bernardo's
- The Bliss Ball for babies born too soon, too small and too sick
- The Crystal Ball for Help for Heroes
- Lymphoma Research
- SNAP (Special Needs Activity Playscheme)
- Yorkshire Cancer Research
In addition and in conjucntion with Loughborough University, we have supported the IDEALS project which assisted orphaned and disadvantaged children in Zambia through multi-sports coaching.
Be sure to keep checking our news page for regular updates on what we are currently doing.
Environmental concerns are not only a focal feature of ICB policy but also influence every decision we make however small or large. Within the corporate setting, environmental issues impact heavily on the everyday running of the company from ensuring company cars are hybrids wherever possible to installing light sensors in all office spaces. We mirror this attitude in our production and seek to recycle 100% of our waste, alongside various other initiatives such as careful resource monitoring in order to consider our environment at all times.
We endeavour to promote responsible drinking in all areas of our marketing. Consumer health and wellbeing is encouraged by the emphasis we give to enjoying our products sensibly whilst regulating at all times. We are Code Signatories to, and fully comply with, the Portman Group Code of best practice for the responsible labelling and promotion of alcoholic drinks and wherever possible, promote its 'Drink Aware' campaign on our products.
